Beautyworld Dubai concluded its 30th edition, consolidating its position as one of the leading meeting points for the global beauty industry.
Held from 6 to 8 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Beautyworld Dubai 2026 welcomed 62,130 visitors and 1,300 exhibitors from 56 countries, generating $1.19 billion in reported business. Professional hairdressing, fragrance and cosmetics shared the spotlight in an edition marked by innovation, business opportunities and the presence of leading industry figures.
Three decades after its launch, Beautyworld Dubai has evolved from a commercial gateway to the Middle East into a strategic platform driving trends, business and new opportunities for the global beauty industry. The results of this edition confirm its international reach. Over the three days, 51,614 business deals were reported, according to interviews conducted with 1,324 exhibitors. The final day was particularly successful, with 18,956 deals worth $460 million.
International participation also reached impressive levels: 42% of visitors came from outside the United Arab Emirates, with strong representation from countries including Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman. In addition, 239 companies participated for the first time, while the Philippines made its debut with a national pavilion, joining countries such as France, Korea, Brazil and Italy.
Professional hairdressing shines on stage
One of the major highlights of Beautyworld Dubai 2026 was its programme of live shows and education, bringing together internationally renowned professionals on the beautyLIVE and The Makeup Studio stages. Names such as Mounir, Dimitris Giannetos, Josh Lamonaca, Mary Phillips, Patrick Ta and Maggie Seeman shared their expertise and creativity with a professional audience, reinforcing the event’s role as a showcase for trends and a meeting point for knowledge exchange.

Particularly noteworthy was the participation of Spanish hairdressers Jorge X, Rafael Bueno and Carlos Valiente, presented as the Spanish World Champions of Hair, who delivered a spectacular stage performance on the closing day. “It’s a great honour to be back in Dubai. Beautyworld Dubai is one of my favourite stages to be on every year,” said Jorge X. “I’m especially happy because the two guys on stage with me are incredible and I love the idea of bringing amazing Spanish talent out of Spain and into the world.”
Meanwhile, Patrick Ta brought The Makeup Studio programme to a close with a masterclass focused on red-carpet makeup artistry. The renowned makeup artist also shared his experience as an entrepreneur and founder of Patrick Ta Beauty, highlighting the importance of professional trade shows for connecting with manufacturers and developing new brands.

From fragrance to new business opportunities
Fragrance was another major highlight of this edition, occupying a dedicated hall for the first time, with an unprecedented exhibition footprint. Leading international fragrance and ingredient companies, including Givaudan, dsm-firmenich, Symrise and Takasago, shared the space with both emerging and established brands from the Middle East. Among the most notable launches was Kenz de Rasasi, the new luxury fragrance house unveiled by Rasasi Perfumes in the presence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Beyond demonstrations and product launches, however, Beautyworld Dubai strengthened its strategic positioning through its Next in Beauty conference programme. Kelly Kovack, founder of BeautyMatter, presented recent research into the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, while investment industry representatives explored growth opportunities across the sector. Mia Collins, Head of Beauty at Harrods, discussed the future of luxury retail.
The exhibition also served as a launch platform for new companies, including skincare brand NAD+OLOGY, developed in Dubai following more than two and a half years of research and formulation. These initiatives reflect the evolution of the Middle East into a market that not only consumes international products but also generates innovation, homegrown brands and new business opportunities for manufacturers, distributors and beauty professionals.

Beautyworld Dubai Awards and a look to the future
The 30th anniversary celebrations also featured the Beautyworld Dubai Awards, recognising professional and business excellence across 17 categories. One of the evening’s most prestigious honours went to Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, who received the Icon of the Year award in recognition of her career and influence on the international beauty industry.
“When this show began 30 years ago, the industry came here to sell. Today, it comes to discover, to invest and to learn,” said Ravi Ramchandani, Event Director of Beautyworld Dubai. “That’s the real story of this edition, not just how much happened over three days, but what it says about where the centre of gravity in beauty is moving. We’re proud that so much of that conversation is now happening in Dubai.”
After three decades at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Beautyworld Dubai will move to a new venue in 2027, relocating to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. This move will provide greater capacity and accommodate the event’s growing international participation. Following a landmark edition in terms of commercial activity, attendance and professional talent, Beautyworld Dubai reaffirms its position as a strategic event for the global beauty industry.
