From May 31, 2025 to June 3, 2025, the international hairdressing industry will celebrate the Intercoiffure World Congress and the 100th anniversary of Intercoiffure in Hamburg. A unique event in the history of Intercoiffure and the event highlight of 2025.
The history of Intercoiffure is closely linked to the Hanseatic city: in 1925, Swiss, German, French, Austrian and English hairdressers founded the exclusive Intercoiffure association in Hamburg. 100 years later, Intercoiffure invites you to the place where the journey began. With over 2500 salons worldwide in 48 countries on five continents, Intercoiffure is the largest private association of top hairdressers. Its symbol, the five-pointed star, stands for quality, fashion trends and shared values all over the world.
Three days of glamour, fashion & networking
The World Congress 2025 casts its shadow even at first glance at the multifaceted program and promises to be THE event highlight 2025: three days full of fashion, full of trends, full of inspiration with shows, exciting keynote speeches, exchange with colleagues from all over the world and enjoyment at all levels. Global hair fashion power: at the Intercoiffure World Congress 2025, the leading hair stylists from all over the world will meet in Hamburg and present their great creative power on stage in prestigious and gala shows.
You can look forward to a dozen high-quality shows – nowhere else will you find this concentrated fashion power in one place. Among others, the following countries will be there with “Prestige Shows”: Bulgaria, Latin America, China, Singapore, Switzerland, Nordic Region, Hong Kong and South Korea. At the gala evening, Germany with Intercoiffure Germany President Markus Herrmann and the team from Japan will provide a glamorous and emotional conclusion to the day. And as part of the “Ordre de la Chevalerie” award ceremony, the young talent of the Fondation Guillaume will demonstrate their talent.
In addition, the information stands of the Intercoiffure partners will invite visitors to exchange information throughout the congress. L’Oréal Professionnel, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Glynt, Dyson, Refectocil, Benegnic, ShrotCuts, Kasho and Zenz, among others, will provide information about their brands and contribute to networking in the large exhibition area, the so-called “World Congress Mall”.

Saturday, May 31st
A warm get-together in the legendary fish auction hall with lots of surprises and local color – immerse yourself in the northern German metropolis and make new contacts with colleagues and partners.
Sunday, June 1st
Nine fascinating Intercoiffure shows at the modern Congress Center Hamburg. Including: Hong Kong, South Korea, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Latin America, China, Singapore and the Nordic region. And L’Oréal Professionnel will also be represented with its own show. The Congress Centrum offers plenty of space for exchange and information in the interactive “World Congress Mall”. In the evening, the emotional highlight – exclusively for all Intercoiffure members, the Gala Dinner with further top-class shows, acts, music and a spectacular journey through 100 years of Intercoiffure history – also awaits at the Congress Center Hamburg.
Monday, June 2nd
Exclusive matinée performance in the Elbphilharmonie, a highlight for all architecture and music lovers. In the afternoon, the Intercoiffure Chevalerie Awards will also be presented at the CCH and in the evening THE grand finale with the “100 Years of Intercoiffure Party” in the World Congress Mall at the Congress Center Hamburg.
And there is also something for every taste in the hotels, from sophisticated to informal, in the immediate vicinity of the congress venues: the Grand Elyssée, Radisson Blu, the beautiful Reichshof and the Ruby Lotti.
